Y. Hata's ServSafe Manager's Course

Y. Hata offers classroom training for the ServSafe Manager Certification, a nationally recognized way to show that your managers are up to date on food safety guidelines. Manager Certification is not required by the State of Hawaii but recommended and regarded as the gold standard of food safety for your restaurant. It is a very in-depth course that goes over all safety and health regulations for handling food and kitchen regulations. Certification lasts for 5 years.  

Instructor Chef Gordon Li

Over 12+ years of culinary experience, from working at Roy’s Restaurants, to a variety of cuisines ranging from Japanese all the way to fine dining vegan. Chef Gordon brings real-world wisdom to our ServSafe Manager’s course. Having experience from working, leading, and opening restaurants Chef Gordon understands the importance of operational excellence with sanitation and safety in mind. A certified Servsafe Instructor/ Proctor who is an advocate for food safety. He’ll equip you and your team with practical knowledge needed to run a successful establishment. Chef Gordon’s approachable leadership style and commitment to professional excellence will ensure a valuable learning experience for everyone, regardless of experience level.
